Filter by variation

I have enabled ‘Variation as product’ which works great and displays as expected in the product archive. The issue I’m facing, is that I am unable to filter the variations by color, via the shop page widget. Upon filtering, a ‘No products were found matching your selection’ is returned. This occurs when ‘Hide variations parent’ is enabled. If ‘Hide variations parent’ is disabled, the filter returns the parent product and not the filtered variation as expected.

Try to go to WooCommerce -> Status -> Tools and regenerate product lookup tables. It should fix the problem.

That unfortunately didn’t work. I ended up unchecking WooCommerce>Products>Advanced>Enable table usage and am now able to filter by attribute. Hopefully unchecking this won’t cause any other unforeseen issues.
