gilbery007ParticipantHi,
When using the filters on our shop our sidebar menu loses all sub categories? Is there any reason for this?https://www.batteriesandsolar.co.uk/shop
To replicate go to the shop and select either sort by or filter you will see the + icon from our sidebar menu dissapears and customers are then unable to navigate.
Does this have something to do with the Ajax Filtering?
Kind regards

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello
I have tested your site by selecting some specific items for filter. Then I notice that your sidebar menu did not lose any sub categories.
Screenshot for clarification: https://jmp.sh/U1E403H
Kindly check back after clearing your site and browser cache.
Best Regards.

gilbery007ParticipantOk so I have cleared caches and still see the same. See images attached one shows before any filters and another after selection is made and filters the applied.
To replicate go Shop> Menu> Batteries> Vehicles> Car Batteries> Filters> Brand> Fulmen
Then all selections for subcategories dissapear, see image no subcategories.
If you then hit page refresh all the icons re-appear, very odd?
Kind regards

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Kindly deactivate all the third party plugins and then check back the categories and their subcategories with default plugins.
In case if the issue is still there then remain the plugins as disabled and let me know.
Best Regards.

gilbery007ParticipantGood morning,
I deactivated all plugins except the menu plugin and core Woodmart plugins but the problem was still there. I am unable to leave the website with minimal plugins activated as it is a business website which I work on all day everyday. You are more than welcome to login and deactivate them yourself to test what is causing this issue.December 10, 2019 at 11:47 am #162376
Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I have test your site and notice that plus icon “+” coming from a third party plugin “WPB Accordion Menu or Category PRO”. When I deactivate this plugin that widget disappears.
It seems that the plugin is not compatible with our theme. Also we did not test that plugin in our theme yet. So there is no such option in theme to avoid that behavior.
You can try any other plugin for this purpose because it is out of our scope.
Best Regards.

gilbery007ParticipantHi Aizaz,
Thank you for looking into this for me. Can you recommend a good menu plugin that is compatible that has extra function other than the built in WooCommerce Product Category menu.Kind regards,
PaulDecember 10, 2019 at 1:57 pm #162435
Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterMost Welcome,
Sorry, I did not recommend any third party plugin because we did not test any plugin for this purpose in our theme yet. Its better to use the WooCommerce default product category widget.
Best Regards.
