Filters on category page do not reappear when I clear filter options

Hello

I have setup a filter on my category page using a widget. When I choose a filter option on this page and then decide to clear filter the filters do not reappear until I refresh the page. I need the filters reappear as soon as I have clicked ‘clear filter’
