Fixed size in product grid

Hi,
CSS resizing of images in the product grid becomes blurry.
I want to use a fixed size to be defined (width:200px; height;280px) and css responsive, instead of resize images, will change the space between column.
How can I do it? Is there already some configurable function in the theme? Can you help?
