font awesome icons on a product category menu

hi

ive search the documentation and forum, I need something like the ticket #85290
want to have the font awesome icon (or an external svg) as an icon for the category menu, I tried putting the name from the FA site, tried couple things but none works, I get a bit of white space but no icon in there

Navigate to Products > Categories enter each category and you will find the option to add icon (SVG) to category menu.

I was asking more about adding the font awesome icons, from the the appearance menus area
put the icon’s name but nothing

the thing is some icons works and some not

was trying with the shirt one, doesn’t show up at all, but anchor or scale shows up

Try to open your SVG icons file with some editor like Sublime Text or default system text editor and add width=”31″ height=”40″ attributes to your <svg> tag like it is shown: http://prntscr.com/m2xxtq

Then you will need to re-upload your icons in WordPress Dashboard.

thanks, now I see why it wasn’t working,

– is there any update or plans on integrating the latest version of FA, or the premium version of it !?
– is it possible to add integration of http://retinaicon.com somehow to the site ? since they have great icons
– is it possible to use css sprites for menu or categories icons ?!

We cannot integrate now the premium version of FA as we do not have the license for it.

It is not possible to integrate the font http://retinaicon.com
