Footer background color changed after update

I realize now that the footer background has gone from my dark color to white. In the settings the color is set to my custom color. Why do you think this happened?

Your footer is missing the class “wd-footer”, which is necessary for the theme options and styles to function correctly. This issue is caused by your custom code located in the child theme. Try removing the custom code or switching to the parent theme and checking again.

Thanks for your help but I found the problem. I had added footer.php in child theme to add chat function.
It looks like there is a new footer-file in the new version, that is why the footer did not work properly.
