Footer cant be changed

I have tried to change my footer from the short code but it doesn’t change and still keeps the default that I got after installing the demo data

currently on my site in the footer section there is no short code in it but I created the footer but each time I put a short code it dose not show up that footer. what would be the problem

I saw the screenshot you attached.

You can try and edit the content of the footer from Appearance >> Widgets >> Footer Columns.

Yes I did that because that’s where I edited it from but now that I have another footer that I edited and I have its short code so when I try to paste the short code in the footer section it dose not appear on the site.

Please make sure that you have not disabled the prefooter area for the page by editing it.
