Free gifts not working with the Mega Electornics Pre-Built Website

    Hi,

    I’ve purchased your WoodMart theme and it is great!

    I am having an issue with enabling the Free gifts feature.

    The feature was working fine when I installed the theme, then I have installed the Pre Built Website Mega Electronics. Once I installed it, the Free gifts feature is not working. I can add only 1 item in the cart, if I try adding more items, I get an error saying there is an Ajax Error in the Cart and the add to cart button keeps spinning. And, the gifts are not showing in the cart as well, even if the conditions are met.

    I have set the gifts up correctly, as it worked without the Mega Electronics.

    I have tried disabling all plugins except the required ones and I have tried disabling the child theme as well, no luck.

    To recreate the issue, enable the free gifts feature and try adding more than 1 item to the cart.

    Could you please take a look at this and let me know if you have a solution?

    Hello,

    Sorry for the delay.

    The thing is that the demo uses Layouts for the Cart page, in this case, you need to define there the “Free gifts” element – https://prnt.sc/cal0T1AIfkS- and then you will be able to see them using that prebuilt website.

    Hello,
    I’ve been setting it up all the time now but it doesn’t really work with the free gifts.
    All points are set and a free gift will also be added to the shopping cart if the “Rule type” setting is set to “Automatic Gifts”. As soon as you go to “Manuel Gifts”, there is no selection in the shopping cart. I had already tried setting the “Free gifts” (https://prnt.sc/cal0T1AIfkS-) widget as described above, but it doesn’t display it. Is it possible to upload it somehow or import it differently?

    Hello and thank you for the feedback.
    I had looked at it and it now worked. We then made further settings and now we no longer see it displayed. Could you please go back to the staging page and check?

    In the settings of the Elementor, enable the editing for Layouts – https://prnt.sc/wRiG9zHBgALr and then edit the Layout itself that is related to the Cart and add the “Free gifts” element – https://prnt.sc/gY9ZvQ9q54qn

    Clear the cache and recheck the issue.
