Frequently Bought together with Variations

We have a product with variations and it seems that we can’t link a specific variation to a specific Frequently Bought together size.

For example: we have a pillow in variation: 40×40, 50×50
The 40×40 needs to match the inside pillow 40×40
And the 50×50 needs to match inside pillow 50×50
