The documentation on the WPBakery CSS generator is unclear about one thing: should you check the elements you intend to use, or should you check the elements you do not plan to use?

    Hello,

The WPBakery CSS generator is designed to allow you to select the elements and options you plan to use and generate a specific CSS file tailored for your website.

It’s important to note that you cannot see which options are currently active beforehand, but there’s no need to worry. If the CSS generator is left empty and none of the options are selected, it will create a file without the styling for those elements.

To ensure comprehensive styling, it’s recommended to check all the elements and then generate and save the file.
This way, you’ll have a CSS file that contains styling for all elements, and you can be confident that all desired features are covered.

    Best Regards

Thanks for confirming that in the WPBakery CSS generator, we need to check the elements we are using.

So, even when selecting all the elements, generating the file, and saving it, I can already improve performance compared to not generating a file? Could you explain how?

It seemed to me that the only performance benefit would come from the ability to exclude styling files for elements that aren’t needed.
