Hi there…I am trying to optimize our website to start getting organic traffic from search engines like Google, Bing etc.

This morning we’ve got 2 errors on the google search console related to mobile devices:
Error1: Clickable elements are too close to each other
Error2: Content is wider than the screen

I found the same error here on this thread: https://xtemos.com/forums/topic/mobile-clickable-elements-too-close-together-and-content-wider-than-screen/

I am using this tool to perform my tests: https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly

I’ve been reading and investigating these errors and what I found is: When the WP ROCKET plugin is activated, the error appears on the “mobile-friendly test tool”.

When I deactivate the plugin WP Rocket, the error is gone (NO ERROR APPEAR ON THE mobile-friendly test tool).

On the WP ROCKET panel, I am using the options: “Minify CSS files” and “Combine CSS Files”.

So, what I suspect is there is some CSS file that is responsible to load the styles on the mobile version of our theme. So I need to detect which files is responsible to load these CSS styles and exclude them from the minification/concatenation option.

So, please, could you explain that situation (our issue) to your development team and ask them which file should I exclude from the minification/concatenation task on the WP ROCKET plugin?
I need to know which CSS file is responsible to load the styles on the mobile version of our website.

Some images to clarify the issue:

    Thank you very much…Cheers!

    Hello,

As we can see, the plugin is currently activated and your website doesn’t generate any errors on the front-end. Google test also doesn’t show any errors

    Kind Regards

Please, remove the previous image where everyone can see the name of our website.

If I am sending you all the images without showing the website name, why are you posting an image showing our website name/url?

If I share the URL of our website on the private zone, Why are you showing the url publicly?

I do apologize. I didn’t mean to show your URL and just wanted to post the report result only.

    Kind Regards

Ok…No problem…We have put a lot of hours working on this project, so we are trying to be diligent in all details and we do not want curious people coming to visit our website.

Moving back to the main subject of this thread, yesterday I made some adjustments to the website…I was digging around in the browser console for possible clues…maybe that has fixed the problem temporarily or permanently. I don’t know…

But, please, can your development team tell us which files are responsible to load these CSS styles on the mobile version of the woodmart theme? I would to know the critical CSS files that should load with a high priority on the mobile version of woodmart theme.

Any help on that subject would be very much appreciated…

Thanks for your help…Have a nice day.

    Hello,

All theme CSS files should be loaded. No matter if they are combined or not combined.
You don’t need to worry about that.

    Kind Regards
