    Hello Xtemos support team,
I hope everybody had a great weekend.

I’ve noticed that there is some unusual gibbrish/code on the blog page. It appears on both the live site and our staging site, and I have disabled all of the external plugins on the staging site.

I’ve tried disabling all of the content in the three posts of the affected line, but it didn’t resolve the issue. I’m not even sure if this is related to Woodmart but I see that the gibbrish appears right under the following code:
    <div class=”entry-content wd-entry-content woodmart-entry-content”>

I’d appreciate it if you could take a look.

    Thanks,
    Tom

    Hello,

Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme, switch the parent theme, and check the issue, If the problem has gone, activate the plugins one by one, checking the issue to detect which one causes the problem.

if the problem remains, even after the plugins are deactivated, please, provide your site admin access to the private area.

Please confirm the permit for us to deactivate the plugins not related to the theme and switch to the parent theme for the while of checking what may take up to 15 minutes. Please make the full backup of your site.

    Best Regards

    Hi Elise,
I tried deactivating all of the non-related plugins on our staging website but it didn’t help. I also tried activating the parent theme and it didn’t resolve the issue.

You can go ahead and perform the tests on our staging website without me having to make any backup. I have provided all of the information in the private content.

Hi Elise, thank you for the recommendation.
We are currently performing some tests on our staging website so I can’t update the theme right now, but I will do it once we’ve finished. Do you think that the issue I’m experiencing is related to the older theme version, or is it simply another step in the troubleshooting process?

    Best regards,
    Tom

    Hello,

Please update the theme and plugins related to the theme when you can and get back to us, we will double-check if the problem persists. I do not know exactly the source of the problem. We need to investigate.

    Best Regards

Hi Elise, my sincere apologies for taking so long to get back to you.
The issue still persists after updating to version 6.0.4. We have not yet updated to 6.1.4 but if the issue exists on 6.0.4 I assume updating again won’t help. All plugins related to the theme are fully up to date.

I switched to the Twenty Twenty one theme on our staging website and I don’t see the gibbrish code.

    Best regards,
    Tom

Hi Elise, I’ve updated the theme to the latest version on our staging website and unfortunately it did not solve the issue on the blog page.

    Hello,

Enter each post and replace Raw HTML with the WP bakery Youtube video player: https://gyazo.com/a913e880ee5d472a891bb7c7e918b0c4

    Than check the blog page.

    Best Regards

    Hi Elise,
Do I need to do it for all of the posts? For example I tried doing it for the first post and the gibbrish still appears on that post. If I understand you correctly, only after I’ve replaced the raw HTML with the video player on all posts, the issue will be resolved.

I replaced the raw html with the video player on the first post on our live website:
    https://www.wildguitars.co.il/%d7%a2%d7%93%d7%9b%d7%95%d7%a0%d7%99%d7%9d/chapman-guitars-contest-2021/

And there is a large white gap before and after the video.
Before I continue to make the replacements for the other posts, can you assist me in solving this issue?

    Hi Elise,
I have included your login credentials for the live site in the private content.
As this is our live website, please refrain from enabling/disabling/updating any plugins. You can do whatever you’d like to the blog page and the blog posts.

    Thanks,
    Tom

    Hello,

You need to add a short description for each post: https://take.ms/rLSWz otherwise the blog page tries to take part in the main post content and takes the video you have inserted, as a result, such error occurs.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Best Regards

Hi Elise, thank you for finding this solution. I feel a bit foolish but I can’t find the short description field anywhere on the Edit Post page…can you please point me in the right direction?

    #312828

    Hello,

Most likely this field has not been enabled on the posting page which is why you cannot find it.

Please check the screen options in the top right corner: https://gyazo.com/13bc6b7f96f0d54b122b7dc4e6c41ffe and https://gyazo.com/ebabe9626a6ebc6dc06d517ae7aeb60b
