gisliParticipantHey there,
I’m trying to add a custom map marker to the Google Map widget. Everything is working as intended aside from adjusting the size of the SVG marker. No matter what I try I just can’t seem to change the size if the marker is in SVG format. Having it in PNG format will always end up looking ugly when scaled down so small, so SVG would be ideal. I know it’s possible because on your demo site you have an example of the Google Map widget with a custom svg marker and looking at the dev tools I see that the size is set somewhere – I just can’t figure out where you set it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
In this case, is there any chance that you could give me access to the dashboard area so I can have a look at the settings on your website, please?
Looking forward to collaborating with you!
Kind Regards

gisliParticipantSure thing. I’ve attached a link to an HTML block with a custom map marker and log-in details in the Extra Information field below.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
From the demo, the marker has the “Thumbnail” resolution: https://take.ms/8dtZQ and the dimensions as 80×80: https://take.ms/hXBuXj . At the moment, I see that you have the png image, so try to set the SVG icon and let me know, so I can check how it looks.
Kind Regards

gisliParticipantHey Luke,
Just set the marker as the SVG icon, set the resolution to thumbnail and as you can see in the first screenshot the marker’s dimensions are 60x60px. The marker that shows up on the map however is 150x150px.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Your SVG doesn’t have the width and height attributes.
Your SVG: https://take.ms/uQn23
Our: https://take.ms/yzoXWYou need to open your SVG logo file with some editor like Sublime Text or the default system text editor and add height and width attributes to your SVG tag like it is shown on the screenshot (https://prnt.sc/wsuf5ruwr7ij)
Kind Regards
