Google Maps "This page can't load Google Maps correctly." API not being called

    Hi
    I’m running the Woodmart theme on a few of my sites and I’ve run into an issue where the WP bakery Google maps element is not loading correctly.
    It’s not working on two out of three sites. all three sites use the same API and are hosted on the same host. I’ve disabled and reenabled all non theme plugins – no effect.
    I’ve contacted google support and they have confirmed all settings inc billing are correct. the issue is that the site is not calling the api – even though the api is showing in the admin side of the page. The request is being made but ” https://maps.google.com/maps/api/js?libraries=geometry&v=3.41&key&ver=5.4.2″ where it says “key” is where the api should be displayed.
    All maps were working prior to the latest update, which I applied three days ago.
    Please can you help?

    I have visited the URLs you attached and found the errors in the browser console. These errors are not related to our theme.

    Hi Aizaz,
    Thanks for coming back to me.
    When I was in touch with Google maps support yesterday we found the same error. There is no api call on the page even though the api is entered into in to the appropriate box in the maps element.

    I’ve read the articles and contacted support and everything checks out. Plus that API and page layout is working on other sites using the Woodmart theme.

    I can’t see any plugins or other fields within the site to influence the API or maps.

    Is there anything else I can try?

    Hi,

    Be sure that you have entered your API key in Theme Settings -> General. If it still doesn’t work, please, disable all external plugins and send us your admin access so we can check.

    Thank you Artem.
    That has solved it! I didn’t see that the API had to be entered in two places.
    Adding it into the Theme Settings -> General fixed it.
