Google Pagespeed 8/100 — optimization troubles

Please advise a specialist who can identify problems and optimize the work of our site.
Google Pagespeed shows 8/100 for mobile and 45/100 for PC.
The site periodically crashes due to the high load on the server processor.

In general, our theme is already optimized and don’t have too many resources to make your website slow. Most likely, your website performance suffers from the content you have added to your website. It may happen in case of too many plugins, large not optimized images or other resources. So we suggest you to remove unnecessary plugins, install some kind of JS & CSS optimizing plugins like Better WordPress Minify and a caching plugin like WP Super Cache or use WP Rocket for both tasks. Also, you can use GTmetrix tool to see what makes your website slow and optimize these parts of your website.

Thanks for the answer. One of the main problem is image scale, as usual.
We uses progressive JPEG 1000*1000 quality 9 for product card, which looks great.
But the products preview images in category pages uses the same 1000*1000 images and crops in 250*250.
How could we change the scale on preview images from “full” to “large” or “medium”?

You can check the image scales for small, medium and large size from Setting >> Media.
Also after changing the Image Size as per your requirements from Setting >> Media run this plugin to resize all your existing images to the new size: https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
