    Hello,

I have purchased the theme and installed it with the Motocycle Demo.

However there are a couple issues. Some areas don’t show up correctly in the Home Search bar, the Model field is missing completely:

    Hello,

Thank you very much for choosing our theme and for contacting us.

Seems you have set the wrong attribute in filters. Please read and follow the instructions provided to configure your filters properly:https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/create-filters-form/

If the filter work is still incorrect, please provide your site admin access to the private area.

Please contact the plugin support on this error as our theme support does not cover fixing third parties plugins.

    Best Regards

Also another important question on how to make the sorting work as wanted.

I am selling auto parts and many of them are compatible for models from different years. Say for eg. Part X is for Audi A4 2002-2008 and for Seat Ibiza 2007-2011. For this example: I need to be able to add different models in Part X product page, Audi A4 and Seat Ibiza (which I can via the Attributes) but I need to add different years for different models.

Can you help me sort out this customization? It is urgently needed. Thank you

    Hello,

    1. Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme and check the issue.

    2. We can hardly help to arrange your content. Woocommerce suggests categories, attributes, and tags, you know better what is what and how is the best. In order to help we should be experts in the industry and we are not.

    Hello,

I will explain my request again. It is easy to understand. There is no need to be an auto expert.

I am selling auto parts and on my home page I have this “car parts search” Product Filters bar. http://prntscr.com/oxypzd

The issue is the following. And if you can help me with getting this sorted I would be the utmost grateful. There will be no problem if it involves paying for the customization. Many of my car parts are compatible with multiple different models from multiple years.

For eg. The product is a “Transfer Case” compatible for Ford Escape from 2003-2009 & for Mazda Tribute from 2010-2015.

We need to find a way to make this work for this home filter.

I have the brand, model and years attributes created. As the Product filters work only with Filter Attributes. The Filter Categories doesn’t seem to be relationary (eg. it would have been nice if after choosing a category in the first field, the second field would list the subcategories of that category, at the moment it does not act that way from what I have noticed) and therefore it does not apply to what I need. The thing is I need to add the “years” attribute values in relation to each “model” attribute in the product page. I also have an Woocommerce model plugin which allows me to add different models, submodels and years (it also represents a solution to what I need). http://prntscr.com/oxyujv http://prntscr.com/oxyur6

In order to make it work, I see two possible solutions:

    1. Use the models to create the filtering system. Brand is the main model, the model is the submodel of the brand, and the years are the submodel of the model. So on top of the current Filter Attributes and Filter Categories I would need Filter Model http://prntscr.com/oxz6zj Probably the easiest solution.

    2. Be able to add seperate years for seperate models in the Product settings, and also adjust the Product filtering to show in the list only the models and the years of the previously chosen brand and model.

I am here if you require any clarification. Would appreciate your help immensely. Thank you!

    Hello,

The filtering and attributes are the functionality of Woocommerce and our theme does not have any options or quick solution to rearrange that. You would better view the competitor’s sites to have an idea of the best way of sorting.

In order to suggest you ways of sorting, we should study the assortment and the characteristics. This is not the scope of our support we just cannot undereat that. Hope for understanding.

    Best Regards
