grid and carousel element – Order by fix

I added the grid and carousel elements to the homepage.
I then set the data source to all products. I selected the categories I wanted to show. For the “Order by” section, I chose the last modified date option. As a result, an error occurred. In the error, the product I last updated goes to the end, not to the beginning. I want the product I last modified to appear at the top of the grid here. Is this feature available?

Try to choose the order by “Date” and change the published date in the edit product page and check the issue.

Logically, this approach will create another problem if you want to solve a problem.
When I update 10 products on the same day, I need to manually advance their publication dates by 1 minute each. This is unnecessarily tiring.
At the same time, while there is sorting by Last edited date, why should I use sorting by date and disrupt the publication dates of products?
Actually, the method is clear. When sorting by last edit, the last edited goes to the end. It should come to the beginning. The order will be reversed. That’s all.

May be there is an issue with the 3rd party plugins. Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then Activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.
Otherwise, if the issue still exists then keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and share the WP admin login details of your site so I will check and give you a possible solution.
