sharonlParticipantHello.
I started uploading articles to my blog. After two days of struggling with Gutenberg and turning the internet upside down to find a solution to a problem, I now read in this forum that you do not support Gutenberg at all. I did not even consider such a possibility, since when I bought the theme it was clearly stated that it does support Gutenberg. Otherwise I would not have bought it in the first place. When I was looking for a theme on themeforest, I explicitly ran a filter that would filter only those who support Gutenberg.June 29, 2021 at 11:04 am #303298
Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Our theme is fully compatible with Gutenberg’s default functionality. Could you please clarify what issues do you have with it?
Kind Regards

sharonlParticipantHi. Thank you for the response.
When viewing in a browser that is not connected to WordPress, the element of media and text on the side appears differently than in the editor. See page: https://janeausten.online/prideprejudice-spin-off-books/
The text and button appear below the image and not next to it.June 29, 2021 at 11:47 am #303310
Artem TemosKeymasterPlease, send us your admin access so we can check how it is configured in the editor.
Thank you in advance.

Artem TemosKeymasterCould you please temporarily disable all optimizations and cache plugins temporarily?
June 29, 2021 at 12:11 pm #303321
sharonlParticipantHow long is it temporary?
I’d rather not.
I have someone working on it right now. Is there no other way?June 29, 2021 at 12:28 pm #303329
Artem TemosKeymasterIt looks like the optimization plugin breaks the CSS file related to Gutenberg. That is why you don’t see them when not logged in and the cache is enabled.

sharonlParticipantYou mean CG optimization plugin?
It’s SiteGrounds. I guess can turn this one off.June 29, 2021 at 12:47 pm #303346
Artem TemosKeymasterYes, try to turn it off and check how it works.
June 29, 2021 at 12:59 pm #303351
sharonlParticipantit worked!!! 🙂
Thank you very much!
I spent so much time on it trying to solve it
I really appreciate.Only now the header does not get small when scrolling.
And speaking of which, can you also tell me how to get rid of the gap between the header and content in a mobile view?

Artem TemosKeymasterTry to reload the page after resizing the browser. As we can see, it looks fine on a real mobile devices.
June 29, 2021 at 1:47 pm #303370
sharonlParticipantYou’re right. After reload it looks fine.
But when you open a page for the first time and say, reduce a bit the window the gap appears.
And also – what happened to the header that now it does not shrink when scrolling?Attachments:

Artem TemosKeymasterYes, because the script calculates the header height and adds appropriate padding to the content only when the page is loaded. And your mobile and desktop headers are different in size. That is why you see this problem after window resize. But your visitors would never face this problem.

sharonlParticipantOk. Thank you very much. You were very helpful and attentive.
But now I face another problem- I updated the theme and see what happened! (Emoji screams)Attachments:

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Check if you have a correct URL set in Dashboard -> Settings -> General. It should start with HTTPS if you are using an SSL certificate on your website. Then go to Theme Settings and resave them. If it doesn’t help, please, provide us your admin access so we can check.
Kind Regards

sharonlParticipantThank you. It seems to have helped. On some level.
The header on the home page is sitting in place now. But still messy on one of the other pages (https://janeausten.online/product-category/accessories/)
But yet, on home page and some other pages, the fonts, some of the icons, and custom css do not work.June 30, 2021 at 9:36 pm #303734
sharonlParticipantOk. I cleared the cache at SiteGround and now almost everything is fine. 🙂
Except for the date on the blog that should not appear according to the custom css.July 1, 2021 at 6:15 am #303805
Artem TemosKeymasterCould you please send us a screenshot of the element you want to hide and also the screenshot of the CSS you use for that?
