giovidimaroParticipantHello,
I’m currently experiencing an issue with the Header Banner in the Woodmart theme. Despite having the option enabled in the Theme Settings (see attached screenshot), the banner does not appear on the front-end of the website. This feature used to work correctly in the past, but for some time now, the banner simply doesn’t display—even though I’ve filled in both the Banner link and Banner content fields correctly and saved the settings.
I’ve already tried clearing the cache, checking the child theme’s customizations, and even disabling other header-related features, but nothing seems to solve it.
Could you please help me identify what might be preventing the banner from displaying?
Thank you in advance!
Best regards,

Hung PhamKeymasterHi giovidimaro,
Thanks for details.
I switched to parent theme and header banner showing again. Please double check your custom functions in child theme.

giovidimaroParticipantThank you very much. I’ll clean up the function.php of the woodmart child, and then try reactivating the same theme.
I’ll let you know if anything happens.June 18, 2025 at 6:18 am #668059

giovidimaroParticipantHi,
I’m experiencing an issue with the mobile layout of single product pages when using my child theme.
The main product image appears very small on mobile **only when the child theme is active**. However, when I switch back to the Woodmart **parent theme**, everything works perfectly — the product image displays at full width as expected.
To avoid customer impact, I’ve temporarily reactivated the parent theme. So if you check the site now, everything may look fine — but the issue happens only with the child theme.
Here’s what I’ve already tried inside the child theme:
1. Ensured that
functions.php
enqueues the parent styles correctly.
2. Calledwoodmart_enqueue_inline_style
viawp_enqueue_scripts
.
3. Deactivated custom WooCommerce templates likesingle-product.php
orcontent-single-product.php
.
4. Reviewed and removed any conflicting custom CSS.
5. Inspected the product gallery DOM and confirmed the correct HTML structure.
6. Tried to apply custom mobile styles using CSS, but it didn’t fix the issue.Despite all this, the product image remains small only with the child theme active.
It seems that something required by Woodmart (JS/CSS or a theme initialization function) might not be triggered correctly when using the child theme — but I couldn’t identify it.
Could you please help me understand:
– What function, style, or setup is essential to ensure proper gallery display on mobile?
– Is there any special initialization required in the child theme? Here’s an example product page:
