Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme and switch the parent theme, check the issue, if the problem remains, leave the plugins not activated for us to check.

It worked when “ShortPixel Image Optimizer” was disabled.

But why did that happen? Can’t you find a solution?

Seems that this plugin is not compatible with our theme. There are two ways of solving: contact the plugin support for fixing that or disable the plugin, configure your header and enable the plugin again. As I understand header works well with the plugin, the problem occurs when you try editing the header.
