Help with using vertical videos (9:16) on my website

I would like to use vertical format videos (like from Instagram Reels or TikTok, with a 9:16 aspect ratio) on a section of my website (for example, on the video section of my ‘About Us’ page). However, I’ve noticed that the current video containers seem to be optimized for a horizontal format (16:9).

Could you please assist me with how to properly display vertical videos on my site?

Is there an option within the theme settings to change the video aspect ratio?

Is there a specific shortcode or CSS class I should be using for this purpose?

When I directly embed a vertical video, how can I ensure that it is displayed correctly without any aspect ratio distortion?

I would appreciate your guidance on this.

It would be better to upload the video as a YouTube Short, which is specifically designed for vertical videos.

You can simply add “shorts/” to the video URL to ensure it displays correctly in vertical format. For example:
https://youtube.com/shorts/Ks70YO1ftBs
