Don’t worry, your theme isn’t broken. This error is very common and happens when the whole package downloaded from ThemeForest is uploaded instead of the installable theme file inside it.
Here is how to fix it, step by step:
1. Go to your ThemeForest account, open Downloads, find WoodMart and click Download → All files & documentation.
2. Unzip (extract) the downloaded archive on your computer.
3. Inside the extracted folder, find the file called woodmart.zip. Do not unzip this file. This is the theme you need to upload.
4. In your WordPress Dashboard, go to Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload Theme.
5. Select the woodmart.zip file and click Install Now.
6. When the installation is complete, click Activate. The WoodMart setup wizard will then open and help you finish the setup.
If you also want a child theme, you’ll find woodmart-child.zip in the same folder. You can install it the same way, but keep the main WoodMart theme installed too.
