Hide empty categories not working.

Hi I’ve added all categories in my mega menu and choosed the option “hide empty”, but it is not working. The category “Alternatief” has no products assigned. But know it shows a text. I want to hide the complete categorie when it has no products.

Please help.

Thanks for reaching to us.

I’ve described in the other topic that there is no such an option. Custom CSS can remove text only, not menu items completely and remain white space.

But why is there an function within the element “hide empty” if this doesn’t work?

When the category doesn’t have products, it shows message and then customers can know the status of that category, which means it works properly.
