HIDE WIDGET SIDEBAR FOR CATEGORY PAGES

Dear,

When we define “show categories only” for a specific layer of categories, why do we still show the full list of widget. It’s a non-sense because you’re not gonna filter things if you do don’t have any products displayed (only categories). It’s not userfriendly.

How can we hide the filters if we display only categories?

I am checking Appearance > Widgets > Shop page widgets area. I see Product attribute filters and no Category widget.

Here is the options provided by the Category widget http://prntscr.com/mlwrm5 there is no option to show categories only as this widget does it. Filter attribute will never show any categories.
