    Hello Woodmart Support Team,

I am experiencing recurring high CPU usage and slow database queries on my website when traffic increases, especially with WooCommerce running on the Woodmart theme. I have noticed that requests related to admin-ajax and wc-ajax, as well as meta data queries for products and users, consume significant resources and cause the site to slow down during busy periods.

Please note that automatic cart updates have not been disabled so far, and caching is enabled. However, the performance issues persist with higher traffic and more requests.

Do you have any recommendations or specific settings for the Woodmart theme to optimize performance on high-traffic sites? Are there any compatible plugins or configurations you advise to help reduce resource usage and speed up database queries?

    Thank you for your support.

    Hello,

Thank you for purchasing our WoodMart theme and reaching out to us. The issues you’re experiencing with high CPU usage and slow database queries are typically associated with WooCommerce rather than the WoodMart theme itself.

To address these concerns, I recommend the following steps:

    1. Temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme such as Twenty Twenty-Three to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is related to the theme or not.

    2. Disable all plugins except WooCommerce and check the performance. Then, reactivate your plugins one by one to identify any that might be contributing to the performance issue.

Please let us know how these steps work for you.

    Regards
