iamthuanParticipantHi Woodmart,
Why does Woodmart page layout hitch (moving slightly into the right then return quickly) every time it is loaded.
Please see the attached recorded screen. It occurs to your demo page, https://woodmart.xtemos.com/home/, and my freshly-installed-Woodmart (no other plugins install) page as well. This may cause discomfort to user experience.
The layout hitch seems not to occur with Firefox, but Chrome and Edge do not.
Any way to fix?
Thanks

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
As we can see from the video, the scrollbar in the browser doesn’t appear while the page is loading. But once the content gets bigger the scrollbar appears and shifts the content to the left a bit.
Kind Regards

iamthuanParticipantHi there,
Did you try with Firefox? The scrollbar still there but there is no shift.
Moreover, when we open other webpages with Chrome or Edge, like “X The Theme”: https://demo.theme.co/education/ OR https://demo.theme.co/bed-and-breakfast/, there is no shift as Woodmart does.
Their layout is stable regarless of the scroll bar or web browsers while Woodmart is not.
Please find out a workaround.
Thank you.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Yes, it doesn’t happen on other demo versions of WoodMart either. But anyway, it is caused by the browser scrollbar.
Kind Regards

iamthuanParticipantI am too disappointed with your answer, mate.
Instead of after identifying the issue, you should try to find a workaround rather than blame for the web browsers. You see clearly other themes do not have such issue, but you still firmly deny.
I built sucessfully two medium-size e-commerce websites with your Woodmart. This is the third one. Previously, supporters answered very in detail and correctly. But you are answering in general without targets to help your customer and your company to be better.
Now I want to know whether you will fix your Woodmart or Microsoft and Google will fix their web browsers.
Thanks.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
We don’t blame browsers we just explain what is this issue caused by. You can take a closer look and see that the scrollbar is missing during initial loading. And it may happen on other themes as well. As you can see, some demos don’t have this hitch. Anyway, we will check why it happens on the home page and try to find out what is wrong.
Kind Regards

Artem TemosKeymasterFor your information, here is an example of other themes with the same behavior. https://demo.theme.co/gym/
Try to add the following code snippet to the Custom CSS area in Theme Settings to fix this issue.
html { overflow-y: scroll; }

iamthuanParticipantIt does not work.
Attempt to fix your demo first at https://woodmart.xtemos.com/home/, then give the correct workaround.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
We have fixed it on our demo. You can test it from your end now. Please, clear your browser cache first or test in the incognito window.
