Home Page gets deleted randomly every week

I can confirm I’m having the same issue as this support thread even with the latest theme version:

The home page just disappears from the list randomly every week at WordPress > Pages and isn’t in the trash either. I haven’t had this happen on any other sites before. Any idea why this could be happening?

I have activity logged installed and tracked down this in the log where it shows a retail customer somehow deleted the Home page. This is what it says:
Permanently deleted the post Home.
Post ID: 28271
Post type: page
Post status: publish

Attached is a screenshot of in the log where it shows this “Aaronkq1” logged in user somehow deleted the home page.

Also checked the users permissions and doesn’t have any weird permissions checked. Here’s a video recording here:

Is this some sort of vulnerability still? My theme is updated to Version: 8.2.7. Seems like the abandoned cart recovery feature still might have something to do with it.

It absolutely is the same exact issue compared to what I linked to. Activity Monitor logged all the things the Cart Recovery feature was changing. I have disabled the Cart Recovery feature for now and it hasn’t happened again. The issue is still not fixed. You guys need to sort this out.

OK, please let me know when the issue happens again so we can review the debugging information and try to fix this issue.

Ok it’s happened again. See the screenshots attached. It definitely has something to do with the cart recovery or abandoned cart feature. The activity log connects the dots. Let me know what you find in your debug code.

Try to apply the patch 688760 and test how it works. Let me know if it helps.

Ok I’ve applied the patch. I’ll keep an eye on it and will let you know how it works out.
