lost.hinataParticipantHello Woodmart team,
I’ve noticed that the slider images on my homepage appear pixelated and slightly cropped, even though the original file I’m uploading is of excellent quality.
You’ll find my original image attached to this message – as you’ll see, it’s sharp and clean. But once displayed on the site, the result is very blurry and not at all satisfying visually.
Can you please tell me:
What is the recommended method for uploading slider images?
What is the exact size / dimensions I should use so that my image appears correctly, without being cropped or degraded in quality?
Thanks again for your help
Best regards,
Cédric M.

Hung PhamKeymasterHi lost.hinata,
Thanks for your patience.
I checked your site and noticed that the background image resolution is 1600×673, while the container’s size is 1690×700. Please try uploading a higher-resolution image and check again.

lost.hinataParticipantHello Hung,
As you can see, the slide is much clearer in the attached WebP file.
However, once uploaded and displayed in the homepage slider, it looks slightly blurry or “foggy” on the site.Do you know why this is happening? The original image is very sharp.
Thanks for your help!

Hung PhamKeymasterHi lost.hinata,
Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like WooCommerce Storefront, deactivate all plugins (except Required Plugins) and then reactivate them one by one, to understand if it is our theme’s issue or not?

lost.hinataParticipantHello Hung,
Thank you for your reply.
Regarding your suggestion to deactivate plugins and change the theme:
this is a method I may consider later if necessary, but for now, I would like to avoid losing time due to a possible misunderstanding. Before going further, could you please confirm two important points:
That the image I attached is of very good quality.
That the image matches the optimal size for the container used on my homepage slider.
It would be a shame to spend time troubleshooting something that could simply be a misunderstanding about the image quality or size.
Thank you again for your support and assistance!
Best regards,
Cédric M.
