    Good evening,

I recently migrated my domain to a new server, and now I am encountering several issues with the website I have using your theme (it’s likely that not all the problems are related to the theme), and I would need some help or at least some guidance.

Let me explain. The website I was building with your theme was on the domain beta2024.nodes25.com, and now after changing servers, I have moved it directly to nodes25.com.

How did I migrate the website from one hosting to another? I used FTP (I had no issue copying the files from one hosting to another) and a backup/restore of the database.

Everything was fine until now, but when I check the new website (which I’ve had to put “Under Construction” while I fix it), I find several issues:

Elementor is not working. Although it’s installed, it doesn’t give me the option to edit any page. ???? It’s the first time this has happened, like it’s deactivated or something, but the plugin is active.

The pages don’t correspond to the website I had set up (the header settings are off, the logo is the default one from the template, not the one I had configured, I have a sidebar on the homepage that wasn’t there…). Everything looks misconfigured… and it’s the first time this has happened, I don’t know.

In the attached file MigrationError01 you can see a screenshot that I had saved of the header and in MigrationError02 the header that appears when performing the migration.

Even the menus are different, composed in different ways, with the same options, but displayed differently.
Right now, I can’t access the original website I built (beta2024.nodes25.com) because we’ve changed hosting, but I will try to contact the previous hosting to access the site via IP. That being said, is there an easier (or more complex) way to migrate the website from one hosting to another (changing from subdomain to domain) in a safer way, so that options, menus, template settings, and Elementor work properly as they did before? Is that possible?

    Thank you

    Hello,

It looks like the issues you’re experiencing are related to an incomplete or incorrect migration process, which may have affected your theme settings, Elementor configurations, and menus.

To ensure a smooth transition and restore your website properly, I recommend following this step-by-step migration guide: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-move-wordpress-to-a-new-host-or-server-with-no-downtime/

    Best Regards,
