Hotspot: Products with variants open the product and not select the variants

Hotspot: Products with variants open the product => can’t you select the variants and then add them to the shopping cart like in the quick view in the store?

Sorry but this is how by default it works.

The button of the product on the Hotspot element for variable products only moves to the Product page. You cannot select variations from the product.
