Hover effect on variable product not working

Hi,

I want to use the hover effect on my products so that it shows a different image when someone hovers a product. The function is activated and works on a simple product, but not on a variable product.

How can I fix this?

Please update the theme to the latest version 8.0.1 and keep all the plugins that are not related to our theme temporarily turned off.
