How can I allow the page code to be edited for google tag purposes

I will be receiving a call from Google as they say the Google tags are not working properly.
They have asked to be able to view the code and be able to edit the tags if needed, where can I show them the code and allow them to edit it?

The Most Easy way is to add it using a free plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/insert-headers-and-footers/
If you want to edit the header.php file directly, then you need to copy the header.php file from the main theme to the child theme and then try adding the code in it.
