How can I create/edit the cart & checkout page with Elementor?
-
Hello,
I am a bit confused about the cart and checkout page.
When I open it in editor, I see that it is created by Gutenberg and it shows “change to classic cart” for every block. When I click edit by elementor, there is only a text element (May be interested in…) in the whole cart?
How can I use/import the layouts from the tethys template? See attached.
Btw. I really miss the import function of individual pages as you offer in the woodmart theme…

Hello,
If you want to enable default templates from the theme, you need to edit those pages and remove all Gutenberg blocks (https://monosnap.com/file/DYynCYO5DELtMiDQW2E99Yhx3TFPCs). Then define such shortcode for the checkout: https://take.ms/8yG9B , and for the Cart: https://take.ms/1bnqH , then those pages will be shown with the theme’s design.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Luke,
thanks for your quick response.
So there is no option to do this with Elementor?
What is your recommended way to go? I guess there is a reason why you do it is in your template?
Hello,
The Space themes don’t have such a builder for Cart/Checkout pages yet. We didn’t enable the Gutenberg blocks for those pages, it comes by default from WordPress so in such cases when they are defined after installing the theme, the users can delete blocks and enable the default WooCommerce pages via Shortcodes.
Don’t hesitate to let me know if you need any further help or any other info.
Kind Regards
