How can I have border around the product images only?

Hi,

How can I have border around the product images only? If I enable the Bordered Grid – ON (image-15). Then I displays nice border around the grid. But personally there are some problems like highlighted in the image-16. Therefore I used the following custom css code;

.product-grid-item .product-image-link {
border: solid 1px #e9e9e9;
}

To achieve this result (image-17 & 18). But if u see the image clearly, some borders are missing from the side. Can u plz help me to overcome this.
