BamboonParticipantHello Elise & Happy New Year !!!
I’d like to know how I can create a slide like you have created on Basel demo ? I am struggling with the police, I have no idea how I need to do it.
Thank you for your explainations,
Lorene

BamboonParticipantThe file was a screenshot of the first slide of Basel demo.
How do you put the text on the image ?
January 2, 2020 at 12:47 pm #165897
BamboonParticipantThe image is also very pixelised : how do I know what size of image to choose on photoshop ?
January 2, 2020 at 2:17 pm #165957
BamboonParticipantIn fact, I have succeeded to put the text on the image and to choose a bigger size of image.
Now, I struggle with responsive text : the text on is superposed : how can I fix it ?
Thank you

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Happy New Year!
Please read and follow the instruction on how to add the slider: https://xtemos.com/docs/basel/basel-slider/
Each slide is a WP bakery page builder template so you can create any template as per your needs.
Best Regards.

BamboonParticipantI’ve read thedocumentation but it dosent say anything about responsivity as I’ve chosen responsive text block, as shoown in the example but on mobile, the text is superposed.
How it could be ? I’ve choosen responsive textJanuary 3, 2020 at 9:03 am #166066
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Responsive are configured by settings of the WP Bakery page builder. https://wpbakery.com/video-academy/responsive-column-control-width-offset-param-usage-explained/ and https://wpbakery.com/video-academy/control-elements-different-devices-responsive-column-controls/
If you have any problems with the responsive text, please specify the slide and provide the screen of the problem.
Best Regards

BamboonParticipantHello,
Thank you for the two videos, they will help me A LOT for other pages 😀
Unfortunately, when I open the WP Bakery Page on the site, it only propose me to change the slider and not the slides (see doc attached). The text on my all 3 slides are not responsive : can you tell me how to fix it so I will not have anymore problem like this in the future ?
Thank you,
Lorene

BamboonParticipantI understand that I need to go to Dashboard > Slides > slide 1 > Edit column > Adaptation > but the space between the words is not changing
January 3, 2020 at 11:41 am #166093
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
The space between the words never changes and our theme does not influence that. You just change the font-size on a different device and this is the option that provides the text responsiveness.

BamboonParticipantBut how can I change the size of the police depending on device ? Can you please put down the steps ? Because it’s about the text on a slide and if I go to edit with WP Bakery, I just can’t modify the slide.
Thank you

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
1. Create two columns and set the visibility on the devices https://wpbakery.com/video-academy/control-elements-different-devices-responsive-column-controls/
2. Insert the Responsive text block element and configure the text size and line-height https://prnt.sc/qjm4ew
So you should have two columns with cloned Responsive text elements with the same content and different configuration for each device.
Best Regards

BamboonParticipantElise,
I have found the issue : I just didn’t know I can develop this arrow to control and set the responsivity…
I thought you should know the origin of my misunderstanding so if someone else is going through the same issue, you will know how to help him !Have a good day,
Lorene
