How to add a popup button that shows a popup with text. Not a promo popup
just a popup with some text and images.

I am not able to find the popup element

You can try using the popup element of the theme then can add the content to it according to your needs.

but when i add the HTML block ID, nothing shows,
is there another popup element ID where i can add content?
