how to add a side-bar menu or widget with categories image/text ?

Hi,
for example in this demo https://woodmart.xtemos.com/shop/demo/drinks/
the left-side , there is a “filter brand” , which it shows brand image
so I’d like to ask , how can I create something like that , but with product categories like 1 column only , then display the category image and name ?

Navigate to Appearance -> Widgets -> Add the WoodMart Product Category filter widget in the shop page widget area. https://postimg.cc/VdfFdyfK
But currently, this default Widget doesn’t contain an option to show category images in the sidebar.
This widget will show all the product categories from Products -> Categories. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
