You can select the Menu in top bar or Base header layout in the Theme Settings > Header > Header layout and then add the widget to the Widget area in the header in Appearance > Widgets.

i have added currency switcher in widget header but unable to show in top bar. Kindly please check your end to resolve issue immediately. Check attached screenshot. Also check the another screenshot in which location to add this
