    add the favicon of frontpage, I can find in theme setting.
    i want to add a different favicon for web admin dashboard.

    Hello

    You can add one favicon which will be applied for the whole site Theme Settings > General

    yes,i find this setting, but it only works on the front page, does not work at web admin dashboard.

    Dashboard favicon option is not related to WordPress themes. It may be added with additional code customization only. Here is an article that should help you https://firstsiteguide.com/add-favicon-wordpress-admin/
