How to add self-hosted video as background in WoodMart (WPBakery)

Hello WoodMart Support Team,

I am currently working with the WoodMart theme and WPBakery Page Builder. In the Row/Section settings, I can only find the option to add a YouTube video as a background.

My question:
Is there a way to use a self-hosted video file (e.g. MP4/WebM) as a background (for example, in the header area), and then place text elements and buttons on top of it?

Ideally, I would like to achieve this using the standard WPBakery integration in WoodMart. If this is not possible, could you please let me know whether:
• WoodMart has a built-in option for self-hosted video backgrounds, or
• I would need to use an additional plugin/add-on to achieve this.

It feels limiting to only have the YouTube option available at the moment, and I am looking for a more flexible solution directly within WoodMart + WPBakery. Ideally self hosted or vimeo instead of youtube.

Unfortunately, WP Bakery page builder does not support this video format as a background. Please insert the video URL.

We haven’t tested any third-party addons with our theme, so we can’t guarantee compatibility. You may try searching for a WPBakery addon that supports row background videos.
