how to center picture in one column

I would like to center the 2 pictures of the guy in each column (with same background space each side). How can I handle it? I tried many ways but I cant find out how.

I tried but it doesnt work, there is no margin on top and left side.

Left image i tried adding a picture as you explain, tight image I inset the picture in the background of the column, also here I can reach the desired effect.

Reset all the margins and paddings. They should be just empty. Divide the row https://gyazo.com/cb43d82a1e7e726a998b67952f19ce9c and center the image inside the element https://prnt.sc/r5vlb8

Maybe I did it but adding the image in the background of the column so I can put also the button inside the image.

How can I add padding around the image/background? Now the background is slightly visibile, please see attachment.
