How to change shop page to show products from a particular category

Shop page currently shows all the products in database. There are more than 200K products and it takes time upon first load. Would like to minimize the number of products shown in shop page and show the content quickly during first load. How do we achieve this? Is there a way to show products of a particular category in shop page instead of showing all the products? This would improve user experience.

You can set Products per page = 12 in the Theme Settings > Product Grid, then you can set “Load more button” or “Infinite scrolling”

Our objective is to reduce the time it takes to load products when we click on ‘Shop’ page. Even after we made the configuration change suggested by you, when we visit shop page, all the products are loaded. This first load takes time and then it was faster. Currently theme fetches all the products defined in WooCommerce and shows it in shop page. This is taking significant time. We want to reduce the time taken during first load. Also currently there are 27 thousand products and it takes more than 30 seconds to load in shop page. Bemodo is planning to increase the products to 100,000. With more products, we think it will take even longer to load in shop page. How do we limit to load only few products (say 100 products or products of specific category)?. Do let us know.

Unfortunately, Woocommerce does not provide the option and the WoodMart theme cannot influence that.
