How to change text of the search form?

Hello. In woodmart header builder we’ve inserted a product search form. It always reads out “Search for Posts”.
We want it to be blank. I don’t see anywhere to change it. I tried overwriting it with jQuery, but the backend first prints out “Search for Posts”, THEN an awkward flash later my jQuery kicks in.
Is there a way in a child theme or theme back end to set this?

Yes, I have that already, thank you. This gives only the option to change it between post and product search. I’m trying to CHANGE the text from “Search for Posts” To EMPTY. Is this possible?
Also, is it possible to add a custom taxonomy search? We want to have our brands in there; our custom taxonomy for brands is ‘product_brand’ – we’d like to add those. So currently it searches for products and categories – we want to add this custom “Brands” taxonomy to the searching feature. Is this possible?

You can translate/rewrite all theme and plugin texts via PO file in WordPress. Here is a video tutorial that should help you translate your website texts with a Loco Translate plugin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3NsDdMzsls&list=PLMw6W4rAaOgKKv0oexGHzpWBg1imvrval&index=3
Please check the video tutorial to see how to save the translation file correctly. You can remove the plugin and translations would remain. Also, translations would remain after each theme update.
As for the taxonomy search, you will need an additional plugin, please try “Relevanssi” https://www.relevanssi.com/
