I hope you’re doing well. I’m currently using the Woodmart theme and I’d like to change the final breadcrumb element (currently displayed with <span class=”wd-last”>) into an <h1> tag instead. My goal is to ensure that the last breadcrumb item reflects the main title for SEO purposes.
I’ve tried searching through the theme files and documentation for a filter (something like woodmart_breadcrumb_output) but haven’t found a clear way to accomplish this without directly editing the theme code. Could you please let me know if there is a built-in filter or another recommended method (such as overriding a template in a child theme) to replace <span class=”wd-last”> with <h1 class=”wd-last”>?
I’d prefer to avoid modifying core theme files, so any guidance on implementing this via a hook/filter or a child theme override would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much for your time and assistance!
