    Hello Xtemos team,

I am building my store with WoodMart and Elementor, and I need help setting up a specific Layout Builder strategy for my Single Product pages.

Here is my situation: I have some products that are officially discontinued but still bring a lot of organic SEO traffic (for example, the Yamaha PSR-E473). I don’t want to delete these pages or get a 404 error. Instead, I want to use them to sell the newer replacement model (the Yamaha PSR-583).

I would like to create a custom “Single Product Layout” specifically for these discontinued items. In this layout, I want to remove the standard “Add to Cart” button and add:

A custom button that says “Buy the new model” linking directly to the new product page.

An alert/notice box stating that the keyboard is discontinued, with a link to a blog post for more information.

    My questions are:

How can I assign this specific custom layout only to certain products (e.g., using a specific tag like “Discontinued”) without affecting my standard product layout?

Which specific WoodMart/Elementor widgets do you recommend using for the custom redirect button and the alert notice inside this layout?

    Thank you for your support!

    Best regards.

    Hello,

There is no automatic “discount” condition in the layout for a single product page

You need to manually define it using Product Category (recommended) or Product Tag.

Then you can assign products in bulk via WooCommerce Bulk Edit, which is faster than editing one by one. After that, use the Layout Builder condition: Product Category > Discontinued (or your chosen category) and create a custom layout for discounted products.

    Best Regards
