Hi. How to create different layout for Shop page (e.g. /shop) and for shop search results? I created two layouts and configured the conditions, but it’s showing the same layout (shop layout) for both.

Condition for shop layout: Include Shop page (I tried with two conditions as well: Include Shop page, Exclude Shop search results)
Condition for search layout: Include Shop search results

    Hello,

Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site, and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then, activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.

Otherwise, if the issue still exists, then keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and let me know so I can check and give you a possible solution. Also switch the child theme to the parent theme.

Hello. I turned off all plugins except the Woocommerce and Wodmart Core. I switched to the parent theme as well. It still doesn’t work.

I installed new website and theme for tests and it works. I’ll copy over current site for further investigation. I temporarily removed your access. I’ll let you know when I have the copy.

    Hello,

No problem at all regarding the temporary removal of access. Please let us know once the site copy is ready and access is restored, and we’ll continue the investigation from there.

    Hello,

Try to increase the PHP Max Input Vars parameter to 10000 or higher in your PHP configuration and check how it works.

Please follow this guide and configure the recommended PHP limits.https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/requirements-wordpress-set-up/

I updated PHP Max Input Vars. Search template is still incorrect (it shows Shop template).

I added red heading to each template for easier testing. (e.g. “This is Search page layout”)

    Hello,

Navigate to Theme Settings > Shop > Variable products > disable the option Show single variation and check the issue: https://ibb.co/FqbM946H

How does variable products link to the incorrect template? Theme is showing “Shop” template for both shop and search results page. It should show two different templates for each of these pages.

    Hello,

I have confirmed it on our test site and the same behaviour.

When Theme Settings > Shop > Variable products > Show single variation is turned ON, it treats each variation as a separate product in shop loops.

Because of this, the theme forces the main Shop archive template for rendering those results — including shop search results — which causes the Shop layout to override the Search Results layout.

When you disable “Show single variation”, it stops converting variations into individual loop items, and the correct template hierarchy is restored, allowing:

Shop page > Shop layout and Search results > Search Results layout

If you need separate layouts for Shop and Shop Search Results, the recommended solution is to keep “Show single variation” disabled.

Thank you, that works. As I have a lot of variable products and I’d like to show single variations – is there any chance so you can fix the current behaviour? Would it be possible to modify theme to show single variations and have separate templates for shop page and search results?
