Hi I do not want people to be able to add to cart directly from the product grid/carousel or ‘products you may like’ sections. I was able to turn this feature off for all the product archives by setting an ‘options preset’ for all the archive pages to be set to catalog, but this only works for the archives and not for the product grid/carousel on all of the ‘products you may like’ carousels. Is there a way to be able to turn this off for these? If not could this be a feature request because it seems like something that should be optional..

    Hello,

When you enable Catalog Mode via Theme Settings > Shop > Catalog Mode, it should remove the Add to Cart button site-wide — including on the product grid, carousel, and “Products you may like” sections. Then it will show the read more button and the user is unable to add the products to the cart.

If you’re still seeing the Add to Cart button in some areas (like those product carousels), share your admin login credentials in the private area under the message, I will check and give you a possible solution.

    Best Regards,

Hi I do not want to remove the add to cart on the product pages, I only want to remove that function on the carousel and product grids. I want people to click into the product page and add to cart from there. With that said if I enable Catalog mode you said that would remove the add to cart button site wide, I am assuming that would be for even the product pages themselves and that’s not what I want. To reiterate again, I just don’t want people to add to cart directly from the carousel or grid ONLY, I want them to be forced to click into the product page and then they can add to cart. Is that possible?
