How to do I do Currency Change on the site?
-
I have a woodmart theme and I have products shown in a default currency (IDR). I wish to have an option for the visitors to quickly change the site currency to one of the following (USD/AUD/EUR/SGD/IDR). To do that I have put a menu item (for prominence) in the header called Price Currency. Two step help: Step 1. How do I offer a way for visitors to click on this and easily select one of the 5 currencies (with IDR as the initial default). It could be via a menu drop down or it could be via a pop up, or any other easy user-experience already built into the theme (I remember there was a currency drop down in the header when I first downloaded the theme but I somehow deleted it). You can also suggest activating that hidden/deleted menu from the header, but I don’t know how to bring it back on or make it work. Step 2. How do I easily enable changing of currency from base IDR (which is what I am using in the shop to key in prices) to one of the selected currencies? I know this can be complicated given live exchange rates etc, but I am okay to have a static change (i.e. I use a fixed formula) OR use a once-a-month kind of update based on exchange rate fluctuations.
thank you so much!

Hello,
You need to use this plugin, please try: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-currency-switcher/
Then you will be able to insert it into the Header builder.

Thanks man you are the best!!
I got it working as a widget, didn’t figure out how to add it as a menu item to the header.
Hello,
You can take the shortcode for the currency switcher and insert it in the Text/HTML block in the Header builder.
