How to edit the home page

Hi,

Am trying to edit the home page i wanted to add the image missing from home page and different section in home page.

I was shared the code to get same home page as basel default theme but now i am not able to complete the home page with proper content.

Hello,

In order to add images in the section of the featured categories you need enter each category in Dashboard > Products > Categories > select category > edit > upload the featured image.

Please provide your site admin access to the private area I will check what wrong have you done and suggest how to fix to remove the code from the front-end.

Also couple of days back we were frequently getting 503 error while working on WordPress.

Hi Elise,

I am frequently getting 404 error, 503 and session logging out continuously when am adding products and updating products, i can’t even open more than couple of tabs.
It just gets stuck and doesn’t respond and throws 404 or 503 error or simply session outs.

I have already had word with GoDaddy, they are saying the problem is with either your theme or plugins, seriously i couldn’t figure out.

Please help!

Featured products on home page grid are of square ration how to make it rectangle same as your demo attached are the screenshots, also in all the category pages.

You need to disable image cropping in Appearance – > Customize -> WooCommerce -> Product Image chose Uncropped – Images will display using the aspect ratio in which they were uploaded
