alyssaguo826ParticipantHello WoodMart Team,
I want to transform only a specific product category (e.g., “B2B Wholesale”) into a pure product showcase using the theme’s built-in Catalog Mode.
My goals:
1. For products in the “B2B Wholesale” category: I want to completely hide prices and “Add to cart” buttons, but keep all standard product information, images, and description tabs intact (so I can use a custom contact form instead).
2. For all other categories (B2C retail): The shopping cart, pricing, and checkout functions must remain active and unaffected.I know how to enable the global Catalog Mode in Theme Settings -> Shop, but I cannot find a way to apply this setting exclusively to a specific category.
Could you please guide me on how to achieve this partial/category-specific catalog mode using WoodMart’s built-in features? Is there another recommended method?
Thank you for your excellent theme and support!
Best regards,

Try to use the theme preset feature of our theme for a specific condition (Term ID) for a specific category and disable the catalog mode from the theme settings.
See Screenshot for better understanding: https://postimg.cc/NyWYTvTZ
Here is our documentation on how to use theme presets: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/theme-settings-presets/
Best Regards

alyssaguo826ParticipantHi Aizaz
Theme Settings Presets (Catalog Mode) not taking effect on front-end even after purging cache.I have carefully followed your documentation and instructions to create a Theme Settings Preset for my B2B products. However, the Catalog Mode is still NOT working on the front-end (prices and “Add to Cart” buttons are still visible).
Here is exactly what I did:
1. I created a new preset named “B2B Category Catalog Mode”.
2. In Conditions, I tried both [Term ID / Single posts from term] and even the absolute [Post ID] targeting my specific product IDs. I made sure to click “Save conditions”.
3. In the preset settings (Shop -> Catalog mode), I unchecked “Inherit” for both “Enable catalog mode” and “Hide price”, and switched both toggles to “YES”.
4. I clicked “Save options” and purged all cash (using Purge All and Ctrl+F5 in incognito mode).
5. For the testing product, it is ONLY assigned to the “B2B Wholesale” category, with no other retail categories checked.Despite all the correct settings, the product page still shows the retail checkout and pricing. It feels like the preset is being completely ignored or overridden by something.
Could you please help me check what might be causing this preset to fail on the front-end?
Thank you for your time and help!
Best regards,

The catalog mode hides the “Add to cart” buttons, cart widget, cart and checkout pages. This will allow you to showcase your products as an online catalog without the ability to make a purchase, not the product price.
I have checked your screenshots and you are using the old version of the theme. Please update the new version of the theme “WOODMART WordPress NEW: 8.5.2 RELEASED”, update the required plugin, and check the issue.
https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/update-the-theme/If the issue remains, turn off all of the plugins not related to the theme, clear all types of cache, and check if the problem persists.
If the issue still remains, please share your Site WP-ADMIN Login details in the Private Content field so that we can check this concern on your Site and help you out
Best Regards
